Alexander Calder: Performing Sculpture at Tate Morden

Calder is one of my favoriate artist.

His dynamic works brought to life the avant-garde’s fascination with movement, and brought sculpture into the fourth dimension. He handled the balance well.

Calder’s aerial sculptures are unquestionably beautiful: delicately balanced arrangements of forms like fluttering leaves, subatomic particles or celestial bodies, suspended from the lightest possible cat’s cradle of wire.

His work is the application of bold color , huge , and full of hovering , floating feeling activity sculptures. As can be seen from the dynamic sculptures Calder , he studied intent " dynamic configuration " and found the perfect combination of sporty and point configuration . He used mechanical means and perfect balance , creating a new style of sculpture sector .His artworks are not only relatived to the environments but also interactive with audience.
