Unit 1 Practices in Sep.

I have begun to do some practices after the London design festival, and these relative to my MA study proposal.

The subject of my research is about how to apply the hybrid materials to the design of household containers to create an innovative product, with wood, bamboo as the main materials and supplemented by embroidery craft.​

So, I try to find the relationship between wood and metal. Firstly, I use wire as thread and treat the wood as a cloth. I use the wire through the holes into veneer at random. At the beginning, I only try some different plane forms, but after few attempts, I discover three dimensions form will be the fit way to transfer the space concepts. Its effect was better than 2 dimensions form.

My research of this unit relative to the person who has sight problem, so that I choose to creat the tactile.

Further more, I hope this practice through different arrangement to show the tactile.
